March 2003: Revision to the rear suspension.

This has made a MASSIVE improvement in the general driveability of the car.

Original works below

The evening of the first day

I did the donkey work

Unbolting things

And removing

The gubbins

To clear the way for what was to come...

The cross member and 2 completed bars

We used the front leaf spring mounting points

as locators for the cross member

Making the end pieces for the bars

Rose joints in newly threaded end pieces.

Fabricating the mounting brackets

For the axle

Me cutting things?

The completed 4-bar

Measuring up for triangulated bar

Trying it out for fit

I cleaned the Waxoyl from

The boot

Bell crank pivot

We did some mock-ups

Lower shock mount

Was bolted in here

The painted parts ready for assembly

Assembled at last

And back on it's own wheels
