Although it looks rough, it's really solid original panels.

This is the chassis sandblasted and primered.

The engine, purchased from a bloke in Essex. On the right, is a pic of the chassis, with the gearbox mock-up,( it's a Getrag 5speed box from an XJS!) and the air bag pump in place.

This is the truck with the cab back on.

Rear leaf springs have been replaced with a 4-bar system with a panhard rod. (deliberately bent to give clearance for the differential at lowest ride height.)
